We have been remodelling our office space, almost finished and we are very pleased with the results. We have taken away the ceiling, exposed the original beams and added skylights.
Here are site photos for 16 Whittle Street, a remodelling of 1780’s townhouse in the Northern Quarter Manchester, stripping out works and major structural alterations.
Great news on our latest domestic project at Whittle Street, Northern Quarter Manchester; The planning application has been submitted this week. We have also supplied a heritage statement as requested by Manchester City Council as the building lies within the Smithfield Conservation area. The scheme now includes the addition of a porch and extension to roof. The 3D views are looking good!
One day workshop at the mill using physical models to explore the spatial quality of the new residency spaces. occupying the Mill's B+B we were able to discuss the ideas with some of the artists who have studio spaces in the building. Its important that the project is understood and supported by the wider community in the building. Really enjoyable to spend a day making models away from the office.
