The Pontifical Mission building is a five storey, plus basement, typical Regency terrace house located on a beautiful London Square.
This very elegant building is in a good state of repair but the use of the spaces is outdated and ad hoc.
Our brief was to introduce a lift and to rationalise the use of the spaces in order to accomodate better the mission's present day needs and requirements.
The alterations that we proposed succeeded in accommodating all the missions needs and more. WE provided a lift to ease the vertical circulation and provided them wih various options which allowed for future expansion and dwelling possibilities. All this was achieved with very little disruption to the generous and well proportioned rooms which the house possesses.
