56 – 58 Jersey Street

Client: Mr Paul Morris

Contract Value: Unrealised circa £1.1m

Set in the heart of Ancoats, Paul Morris commissioned us to redevelop a significant corner site. The successful building design managed to maximise the site potential whilst convincing the Ancoats Urban Village Trust (AUVT) and the City Planners of its Architectural credentials.

Inspired by the textile history of Ancoats and the quality of its polychromatic brick and stone mills, we created a multi-banded brick façade, topped with a zinc saw-tooth skylight roof. A contemporary reinterpretation of industrial Manchester.
